Semi Senior Accountant – Music Industry Focus

About the role

This position offers a unique blend of accounting expertise and a passion for the music industry. You will work for a specialist firm that prepares accounts for world‑renowned recording artists, providing an insider view of the creative sector while delivering professional financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for a portfolio of music‑industry clients.
• Manage client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Prepare and review bookkeeping records and VAT returns.
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and gather necessary information.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
• Support junior colleagues through guidance and feedback.
• Collaborate with tax and advisory teams to ensure compliance.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months experience at a UK accounting firm, ideally with year‑end accounting exposure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Confident communicator with a proactive attitude.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
