About the role
We are seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Lambeth. You will work closely with the SEN team to help pupils with autism spectrum disorder and complex needs access learning and build confidence in a nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with ASD and additional needs.
- Support classroom activities and daily routines.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting and feeding when required.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement personalised support strategies.
- Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Patient, empathetic and resilient attitude.
- Comfortable supporting personal care needs.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
