Senior Account Executive – Public Sector SaaS

About the role
We are looking for a senior, strategic commercial leader to drive enterprise SaaS sales within the UK public sector. You will own the full sales cycle, selling an AI‑powered platform to local authorities and other public organisations, while shaping our go‑to‑market strategy as we scale.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end enterprise SaaS sales across UK public sector accounts.
- Build and maintain a strategic pipeline, supported by SDR resources.
- Engage senior stakeholders in local authorities, procurement, operations and leadership teams.
- Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder environments and long procurement cycles.
- Refine ideal customer profile, commercial messaging and overall go‑to‑market approach.
- Provide customer insights to inform product direction.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM discipline and commercial reporting.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in complex B2B SaaS sales.
- Proven success selling to UK public sector organisations or local authorities.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement frameworks and stakeholder management.
- Track record of exceeding quota in enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience in startup or scale‑up environments.
- Commercially sharp, highly organised and consultative.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and autonomy.
