Senior Accountant – Central London

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join a modern, medium‑sized accountancy practice in Central London. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, support their financial growth and develop your own career within a forward‑thinking firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, ensuring compliance and identifying efficiency improvements.
• Oversee VAT and corporation tax returns, providing proactive tax planning and commercial advice.
• Act as the primary contact for a client portfolio, delivering tailored financial and commercial guidance.
• Support business owners with strategic planning, management reporting, cash‑flow forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis.
• Mentor junior accountants and trainees, reviewing their work and supporting professional development.
• Identify and develop value‑added advisory services to enhance client relationships and drive practice growth.

Required profile

• Part ACA/ACCA qualified (full qualification is an advantage).
• Ambitious accountant with a strong desire to progress within a growing practice.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
