Senior Accounts Payable Analyst – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Skyscanner is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will ensure smooth AP operations across multiple entities and currencies while actively contributing to automation, AI‑driven improvements, and process redesign.

Key responsibilities

• Process high‑volume accounts payable transactions accurately and on time in a multi‑entity, multi‑currency environment.
• Support month‑end activities, including accruals, pre‑payments, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain supplier master data with robust controls, approvals and audit trails.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to resolve queries and facilitate supplier onboarding.
• Design and refine automated workflows using AI tools, reducing manual effort and enhancing scalability.
• Balance day‑to‑day delivery with ongoing system, automation and process transformation initiatives.
• Adhere to financial controls, audit requirements and policies to protect cash and minimise risk.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable or shared‑services finance within a large, fast‑moving, multi‑entity, multi‑currency organisation.
• Demonstrated accuracy in processing high volumes with minimal errors.
• Strong ability to meet tight month‑end deadlines and prioritise effectively.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools (e.g., Workato, Codex, Claude) or similar technologies to automate repetitive tasks.
• Confident communicator comfortable working across finance, engineering and commercial teams.
