Senior Consultant, Employment Tax

About the role

This senior consultancy position focuses on employment tax advisory for a leading professional services firm. You will work with a prestigious client portfolio, navigating a fast‑changing legislative landscape and delivering high‑quality advice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on employment tax matters, including remuneration structures, benefits and expenses.
• Support HMRC enquiries, disputes and compliance reviews.
• Assist with due diligence on corporate transactions and identify employment tax risks.
• Research case law, apply legislation to client scenarios and draft technical advice.
• Participate in client meetings, lead discussions and mentor junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposals.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of employment tax legislation.
• Professional qualification (ACA, CTA, ATT) or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and confidence in client‑facing situations.
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge.
