About the role
IPS Group, on behalf of a Global Insurer, is seeking a Senior Cyber Underwriter to join a newly established Cyber team in the UK. The role will be based in Manchester and offers hybrid working.
Key responsibilities
- Drive profitable new business growth in the cyber insurance portfolio.
- Manage and negotiate key renewal accounts.
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships to enhance market presence.
- Review and negotiate broker‑submitted quotations.
- Utilise e‑trade and workflow platforms to process business efficiently.
- Support underwriting decisions with solid technical knowledge of cyber risk.
Required profile
- Approximately three years of experience underwriting cyber insurance, covering both new business and renewals.
- Proven ability to develop broker relationships and guide junior team members.
