About the role
The Senior Early Years Policy Manager will lead the development and implementation of policies that shape early years education across the nation. Working within a mission‑driven organisation, you will influence national policy, champion evidence‑based practice and ensure that disadvantaged children receive high‑quality support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and advocate policy positions that focus on equity, quality of practice and evidence use in early years settings.
- Collaborate with the Programme Lead and Head of Policy to set priorities and build strategic relationships.
- Communicate policy recommendations to diverse audiences, including policymakers, practitioners and partners.
- Support professional development initiatives for early years teachers and leaders.
- Lead projects that improve training, evaluation and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of early years policy developments and inform senior leadership.
Required profile
- Proven experience in education policy or a closely related field.
- Deep understanding of the early years landscape in England.
- Demonstrated ability to influence policy and work with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

What we offer
- Salary of £53,050 per annum.
- Hybrid working with at least one day per week in the London office.
- 27 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (3 flexible).
