Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Glasgow office and contribute to award‑winning, sustainable building‑services projects. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers and architects to deliver high‑performance electrical solutions for a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on complex, large‑scale projects across commercial, residential, education, healthcare and industrial sectors.
• Produce detailed calculations and drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with in‑house engineers, the environmental team and CAD specialists to integrate electrical systems with overall building design.
• Manage project timelines, provide regular updates to the line manager and meet agreed deadlines.
• Support continuous professional development (CPD) and stay current with Atelier Ten’s sustainable design approach.

Required profile

• Qualified electrical engineer with several years of experience in building‑services design.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex tasks while also contributing to team efforts.
• Strong interest in sustainable design and willingness to develop interdisciplinary knowledge.

Required skills

• Electrical system design and calculation.
• Technical drawing production (CAD).
• Understanding of building‑services integration.
