Senior Engineer – ESG Technology

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its ESG Central Technology team. You will design, develop and support ESG data and application solutions that power analytics, reporting and decision‑making across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain ESG technology applications and services.
• Build and support cloud‑based, data‑driven solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts and product owners in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues following established procedures.
• Contribute to documentation, quality standards and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide informal guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Experience with React, JavaScript, Spring Boot or Python in modern application development.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices, APIs, CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services, including LLM integrations and AI‑powered APIs.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Financial services or asset‑management background preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
