Senior Frontend Developer (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join one of our multidisciplinary product squads in Manchester. You will work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to deliver accessible, high-performance user experiences and help shape the technical direction of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of new features and influence technical decisions within the squad.
• Collaborate with product and design to create intuitive, responsive UIs and ship improvements end-to-end.
• Build and maintain modern single-page applications with a strong focus on accessibility, performance and quality.
• Champion engineering best practices such as test-driven development, pair/mob programming, automation and continuous delivery.
• Debug, optimise, reduce technical debt and maintain clear documentation.
• Mentor and coach teammates, raising the overall frontend craft.

Required profile

• Significant experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js required; React experience valued).
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E, performance) and confidence practising TDD.
• Excellent code design habits and the ability to provide thoughtful feedback to peers.
