Senior Learning Designer

About the role

Decoded is looking for a Senior Learning Designer to lead the end‑to‑end design of blended learning programmes that align with business objectives and Decoded’s learning model. You will work independently, guiding projects from concept through delivery and mentoring the wider LXD team.

Key responsibilities

• Own all Learning Experience Design tasks for assigned programmes, including workshops, digital modules, assessments and work‑based activities.
• Analyse learning needs, define measurable outcomes and translate them into structured training objectives.
• Design learning architectures, pathways and instructional strategies across pre‑work, workshops, practice and reinforcement phases.
• Create detailed storyboards, content outlines and assessment scenarios, ensuring high‑quality written English and visual design.
• Review and quality‑assure internal and external deliverables, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor designers of all levels, manage workload allocation and foster a collaborative high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Expertise in Learning Experience Design (LXD) and adult learning theory with a proven track record of scalable blended solutions.
• Strong collaborative skills, able to work with product teams, SMEs and technical specialists.
• Passion for leveraging technology to transform learning experiences.
