Senior Leasing Manager – Build-to-Rent

About the role

The Senior Leasing Manager, BTR will lead and optimise leasing activities for third‑party multifamily assets across Greystar’s UK portfolio. This senior position focuses on driving occupancy, maximising rental income and delivering a seamless resident experience through data‑driven strategies and technology‑enabled processes.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and scale a centralised leasing function for third‑party multifamily assets, using technology‑enabled strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Oversee the full leasing lifecycle – marketing, lead generation, prospect management, lease negotiations and resident onboarding – to achieve KPI goals.
• Recruit, coach and develop leasing professionals, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative team environment.
• Forecast and adjust resourcing levels in line with demand and seasonal fluctuations to control costs while maintaining service quality.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with asset managers, property managers and marketing teams to align leasing objectives with overall property goals.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party owners and key demand channels such as ILS sites, OTAs and agents.
• Develop and manage leasing budgets, ensuring cost‑effective resource allocation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years progressive residential leasing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding leasing targets.
• In‑depth knowledge of the UK residential real estate market, trends and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
