Senior Paraplanner – Financial Planning (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, an established financial planning practice in Knutsford, is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to provide high‑quality technical and financial planning support to advisers. The role offers a hybrid working model and the chance to work on complex client cases within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing clear, compliant and client‑focused suitability reports
• Providing technical support to advisers and assisting with financial planning strategies
• Analysing existing client arrangements and identifying enhancement opportunities
• Supporting cases from initial instruction through to completion
• Working closely with the administration team to ensure accurate processing of applications
• Monitoring submitted business and liaising with product providers
• Maintaining client files and back‑office systems
• Preparing cashflow models using Voyant
• Conducting research and analysis using Financial Express Analytics
• Preparing for client meetings and completing post‑meeting actions
• Producing illustrations, product comparisons and supporting documentation

Required profile

• Strong experience as a paraplanner within a financial planning environment
• Excellent report‑writing skills with a client‑focused approach
• Good technical knowledge of life, pensions and investment products
• Ability to analyse existing financial arrangements and provide technical support
• Experience managing cases through to completion
• Attention to detail and high standards of compliance
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Collaborative approach with advisers, administrators and the wider team
