Senior Project Manager – Global IT Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a high‑visibility, transatlantic IT decommissioning and outsourcing programme for a leading global specialty pharmaceutical business. Based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, the role operates on a hybrid model (2 days on‑site per week) and lasts for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute rapid knowledge‑transfer plans to capture critical expertise from US team members before their exit.
• Define the future "To‑Be" service state, create detailed service descriptions and draft Runbooks for the EMEA IT delivery team.
• Manage the transition to a third‑party service provider, ensuring seamless outsourcing of IT functions.
• Establish operational frameworks including RACI charts, cut‑over plans and exit/acceptance criteria.
• Oversee knowledge transfer across infrastructure, support services, applications, and specialised platforms.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of senior consulting experience with strong business‑change capabilities.
• Proven background in the pharmaceutical, biotech or cell‑and‑gene‑therapy sectors.
• Ability to act as a trusted partner to business leaders while safeguarding institutional knowledge.
