Senior Tax Manager – Investment Banking (Director Level) – London

About the role

This senior, director‑level position supports a leading European investment bank in London, providing strategic corporate and international tax advice across a complex financial services environment. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver corporate tax advisory on transactions, business initiatives and strategic planning.
• Lead international tax matters, focusing on transfer pricing and the application of double tax treaties, BEPS, Pillar II and AEOI frameworks.
• Interpret and support Bank Levy calculations and related compliance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders in Front Office, Legal and Compliance to translate tax issues into actionable insights.
• Contribute to tax risk management, governance and reporting.

Required profile

• CTA and/or ACA qualified.
• Extensive UK corporate tax experience within a banking environment.
• Proven background in investment banking tax management, international tax and transfer pricing.
• Experience in a major accounting firm or in‑house banking tax function.
• Strong understanding of financial products and their tax implications.
