About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Training Developer to join our team in a high-stakes, structured, and regulated environment. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-quality learning solutions that drive operational excellence and safety compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze complex training needs and design effective, scalable learning solutions.
- Develop comprehensive training materials using structured methodologies such as SAT (Systematic Approach to Training).
- Facilitate and lead engaging training sessions for diverse audiences.
- Conduct post-training evaluations and implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data.
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate technical content accuracy.
- Support audits and ensure all training documentation meets strict regulatory standards.
- Coach stakeholders on effective training delivery and the use of developed materials.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in instructional design and training development.
- Extensive experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical industries.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and coach others.
- Must hold minimum GCSE (A-C) in English and Mathematics (certificates required during interview).
Required Skills
- Mastery of structured learning methodologies (e.g., SAT, ADDIE).
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and modern digital learning tools.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills for training needs assessment and evaluation.
- Expertise in content validation and regulatory compliance.
Work Conditions
- This is a fully on-site position based in Workington, Cumbria.
