Senior Waiter/Waitress for Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Waiter/Waitress to join the dining team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower, a luxury hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge, London. The successful candidate will deliver warm, attentive service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a fast‑paced, high‑standard environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and explain seating arrangements.
• Present menu items, describe preparation methods and ingredients, and answer allergy or dietary queries.
• Promote daily specials and promotions not listed on the menu.
• Verify guest identification for alcohol service in compliance with legal age requirements.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, note special requests and communicate them promptly to kitchen and bar staff.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Basic Food Hygiene and Safety certification.
• 1–2 years experience in food & beverage service, preferably within a luxury hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest‑focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
