About the role

As a Shift Leader at Costa Coffee, you will drive the daily operations of our Tollgate Drive‑Thru outlet, bringing energy, confidence and support to every shift. You’ll enjoy flexible working patterns that fit both full‑time and part‑time preferences while delivering the high‑quality coffee experience Costa is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Lead smooth, efficient shifts and ensure the store runs without disruption.
• Train, coach and support new baristas, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Motivate and energise the team to maintain high morale and performance.
• Uphold Costa’s standards for service excellence and coffee quality.
• Adapt quickly to challenges, using resourcefulness to keep operations on track.

Required profile

• A reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Adaptable, resourceful and calm under pressure.
• Previous experience as a team leader or a willingness to step into the role.
