Shuttering Carpenter – Immediate Start in Brighton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join a commercial development project in Brighton. The role offers an immediate start and an ongoing contract, providing a stable workload for a skilled tradesperson.

Key responsibilities

• Construct, install and dismantle temporary timber or system shuttering for walls, columns and slabs.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and structural plans accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality and structural standards.
• Maintain and organise hand tools and personal protective equipment on site.

Required profile

• Valid Blue CSCS Card (NVQ Level 2 Formwork/Carpentry) is essential.
• Proven track record in shuttering, formwork and concrete structures.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Shuttering and formwork installation.
• Reading technical drawings.
• Interpreting structural plans.
• Use of hand tools and standard PPE.
