Site Handyman – School Construction (Peckham, SE15)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Site Handyman to support a school construction project in Peckham. You will work on‑site, helping the Site Manager with a variety of maintenance and finishing tasks.
Key responsibilities
- General site snagging and routine maintenance.
- Temporary protection work, adjusting doors and ironmongery.
- Installing and maintaining site signage.
- Assisting the Site Manager with finishing tasks.
- Basic carpentry, patching, cutting into walls, and installing fire batts.
- Performing basic taper and jointer work.
Required profile
- Valid CSCS Card (Blue preferred; Green acceptable with solid trade experience).
- Full PPE – hard hat, high‑visibility clothing, steel‑toe boots.
- Own complete set of hand tools and basic battery‑powered tools (drill and impact driver essential).
- Reliable, punctual, with a clean track record on school or commercial sites.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
