Site Manager – Manufacturing Facility (Medway)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Site Manager to take full responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of our established manufacturing facility in Medway. You will lead day‑and‑night shift teams, drive performance and ensure high standards of production, quality and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily site operations, guaranteeing safety and efficiency.
• Lead, motivate and develop shift teams to meet production targets.
• Oversee production planning, quality control and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime.
• Manage inventory, customer orders and site administration.
• Organise logistics, deliveries and customer service interactions.
• Provide hands‑on leadership across all operational areas, including FLT operations when needed.
• Promote a positive safety culture and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, warehousing, industrial or engineering environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage production schedules and drive KPI performance.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to lead from the front.

• UK FLT Counterbalance Licence (B1/B2)

• COSHH awareness
