About the role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Materials Planner to support manufacturing operations in the aerospace sector. The role ensures the efficient flow and availability of materials in line with production requirements. You will work on a rotating shift pattern, alternating early and late shifts each week.
Key responsibilities
- Manage material planning activities to meet production schedules.
- Monitor stock levels and supply‑chain performance.
- Support work‑order releases and coordinate material releases.
- Resolve material‑related issues promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing environment.
Required profile
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production planning or materials control is preferred.
Required skills
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
- Confident IT skills and knowledge of standard PC packages.
