Social Media Executive

About the role

This is a brand‑new, in‑house Social Media Executive position for a world‑recognised company with over 100 years of heritage. The role is based onsite in the UK home counties and offers the chance to shape the brand’s social presence across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Managing and executing social media across Instagram and TikTok (primary channels), plus LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Creating engaging copy, visuals and short‑form video content.
• Leading community management and driving audience engagement.
• Supporting influencer collaborations and campaign execution.
• Capturing live content at trade events and representing the brand.
• Assisting with paid social campaigns and reporting on performance.

Required profile

• 1+ years of social media or content creation experience for a product‑focused brand.
• Strong copywriting and visual storytelling abilities.
• Confident communicator both online and in person.
• Organised, proactive and up‑to‑date with current social trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Experience creating short‑form video and using video editing tools.
• Basic knowledge of influencer coordination and paid social advertising.
