Social Media Manager

About the role

Smartech Retail Group is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead the growth of its social presence and brand community. Based in the London HQ, you will own the development and execution of a content‑first strategy across key platforms, driving audience growth, influencer collaborations and customer acquisition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content‑first social media strategy for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Create, plan and publish engaging social content that reflects the Smartech brand.
• Identify, outreach to and build long‑term relationships with influencers, creators and brand partners.
• Manage influencer collaborations from sourcing and negotiation through execution and reporting.
• Drive community engagement and increase Smartech’s online cultural relevance.
• Design social‑first campaigns to boost brand awareness, footfall and customer acquisition.
• Collaborate with internal teams, retail partners and external creators to bring campaigns to life.
• Analyse content and platform performance, spotting trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates and emerging content formats.
• Capture and produce photography, videography, interviews and behind‑the‑scenes storytelling.
• Provide real‑time social coverage for launches, retail activations and events.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in social media, content, influencer or brand marketing.
• Proven track record growing a B2C brand and scaling social audiences.
• Experience building a community from zero to at least 100K followers.
• Strong understanding of influencer marketing, creator partnerships and short‑form content.
• Creative instincts with the ability to produce culturally relevant content.
