Software Engineer – C# Windows Applications

About the role

Join Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Partners Platform team to develop the PlayStation SDK Windows Delivery tooling. You will design and build the SDK Manager Windows application, bridging business needs and engineering solutions for game development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Build tools and interfaces that support integration and delivery of PlayStation SDK components.
• Implement native interop with C/C++ code to access low‑level SDK libraries.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, SDK developers, and business stakeholders.
• Debug, optimise, and improve performance across managed and unmanaged code.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for internal tools and SDK workflows.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices.
• Support build systems, packaging, and deployment of SDK‑related deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (WinForms, WPF, or similar).
• Solid experience with C and C++ for native integration.
• Experience developing Windows desktop applications.
• Familiarity with interop techniques such as P/Invoke or C++/CLI.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with debugging tools for both managed and native code.
• Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
