Specialist Hygiene Technician – Bristol

About the role

Rentokil is seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join its Bristol team, covering the PL and EX areas. You will deliver a variety of hygiene cleaning services, from bio‑hazard and flood damage clean‑up to crime‑scene and high‑level industrial cleaning, while managing your own schedule and providing on‑site solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive cleaning assignments across diverse environments, including prisons, police cells, factories, and high‑rise sites.
• Participate in an on‑call rota, typically twice a quarter, to respond to urgent incidents.
• Provide expert advice and exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional image at all times.
• Execute specialised tasks such as sharps removal, trauma scene cleaning, silo cleaning, and work at heights or confined spaces.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, proactive and able to work flexible patterns.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.
