Sports Coach - Pocklington

About the role

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Sports Coach to deliver sports club activities for children aged 4‑11 in our Active Care after‑school setting. The role involves running play‑based and sports sessions, supporting children after the club, and creating a fun, safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day‑to‑day running of the provision.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and liaison with parents and carers.
• Safeguard all children in line with policy.
• Build links with parents, carers and professionals to promote children’s well‑being.
• Promote the provision within the location.
• Provide a light tea for Active Care participants.

Required profile

• Holds a Level 2 coaching badge (desirable).
• Knowledge and passion for a variety of sports (desirable).
• Excellent organisation and time‑management skills.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene (training can be provided).
• Paediatric first aid (training can be provided).
