Staff Nurse – Acute Medical Unit (AMU Blue)

About the role

We are looking for motivated and compassionate staff nurses to join the Acute Medical Unit (AMU Blue) at Wexham Park Hospital. You will work in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients in the AMU.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with NMC guidelines.
• Support and supervise junior staff and nursing students.
• Promote patient safety, empowerment and involvement in care decisions.
• Contribute to resource management, including supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Understanding of legal and ethical frameworks governing nursing practice.
