Staff Nurse – Day Case Ward (30 hrs/week)

About the role

Join the Ward team at Woodlands Hospital in Kettering as a Staff Nurse on the Day Case Ward. You will work 30 hours per week across flexible shift patterns, delivering high‑quality patient care in a supportive environment that values safety and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients on the Day Case Ward, ensuring clinical standards are met.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient pathways and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and the "Speaking Up for Safety" programme.
• Support the delivery of surgical ward procedures and post‑operative care.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training through the Ramsay Academy.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Previous experience working on a surgical ward.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible, positive attitude with a warm and empathetic approach to patient care.
