Staff Nurse – Ward 24 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Join the dedicated team on Ward 24 at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. The role offers both full‑time and part‑time contracts, with a strong focus on patient‑centred care, continuous learning and professional development within an innovative and friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide registered nursing care within the Integrated Medicine and Patient Flow Division.
• Prioritise and deliver nursing assessments and interventions as required.
• Maintain high standards of care, modelling best practice for the team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Uphold patient safety, privacy and dignity at all times.
• Support the ward charge nurse and assist with admissions, transfers and staff supervision.
• Take on additional duties as directed by the Unit Manager or Head Nurse.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (NMC‑registered) with eligibility to work in the UK.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.
