Static Electrical Engineer – Birmingham (Annualised Hours)

About the role

We are seeking a Static Electrical Engineer to join our Birmingham team on an annualised‑hours basis. The role involves both planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems within commercial and industrial environments, offering a stable salary plus generous overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections of electrical installations.
• Respond to reactive faults, diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform testing and certification in line with the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Required profile

• Significant time‑served experience as a qualified electrical engineer.
• Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds 2365/2330 or equivalent).
• Current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations certification.
• Flexibility to work varying start and finish times.
