Stock Controller

About the role

We are seeking an organised Stock Controller to join our Birmingham South Partnering store. You will be the key point of contact for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely deliveries and supporting smooth stock movement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date stock records and perform regular stock checks.
• Conduct van stock audits, resolve mismatches and report findings.
• Manage stock ordering, levels and profiles in line with demand.
• Update inventory systems and generate reports as required.
• Identify and flag issues such as missing items, damage or errors.
• Assist with re‑ordering plans and liaise with suppliers.
• Keep the stock area tidy, safe and well‑organised.
• Support safe working practices when handling stock.
• Assist the wider team with day‑to‑day tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in stock control or a similar inventory environment.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using inventory software and Microsoft Office.
• Organised, problem‑solving and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
