Stores Controller – Aircraft Parts & Logistics

About the role

The Stores Controller ensures receipt, handling and issuing of aircraft parts, tooling and materials to support safe, compliant and efficient aircraft maintenance. Working closely with Production and Technical Support, the role optimises maintenance readiness, cost efficiency and on‑time aircraft delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming parts, verifying purchase orders, documentation and packaging condition.
• Store parts, tooling and materials in controlled areas, maintaining segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, quarantine and dangerous goods.
• Issue parts and tooling to maintenance personnel against work orders, recording serial numbers and quantities.
• Control calibration, serviceability and tracking of tooling and ground support equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company MOE and regulatory requirements, support audits and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Part 145 MRO environment, preferably in stores or logistics.
• Strong understanding of aircraft parts documentation, certification standards and import/export regulations.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and work flexible shift patterns.
• Proficiency with MRO user systems such as AMOS, Traxall or Veryon and strong MS Office skills.
