About the role
We are looking for a driven Strategic Account Manager to grow our client’s construction‑parts business across the North of England and Scotland. You will combine field work with remote selling, building strong relationships and turning opportunities into profitable contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed regional gross profit and revenue targets.
- Identify and secure spending commitments from existing accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for high‑growth accounts.
- Schedule and attend face‑to‑face meetings with key prospects and growth accounts.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM with detailed interaction notes and follow‑up actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to sustain long‑term relationships and promote product uptake.
- Provide market feedback and contribute to product development initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven track record in building relationships and generating business leads.
- Strong analytical ability to use data for spotting trends and growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.

What we offer
- Competitive base salary of £60,000 with OTE up to £70,000.
- Hybrid work model – mix of road‑based visits and home‑based work.
- 33 days holiday (including public holidays).
