Student Achievement Tutor-Youth Worker

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Student Achievement Tutor‑Youth Worker to join our team in Bromley. In this part‑time, term‑time role you will deliver group tutorials and one‑to‑one sessions that help students set SMART goals, develop study skills and prepare for future careers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver weekly group tutorials covering safeguarding, pastoral care, careers, social action and study skills.
- Conduct individual sessions to set SMART targets and discuss progression opportunities.
- Monitor and support implementation of study programme elements such as career advantage, Gatsby benchmarks, work experience and enrichment projects.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to implement attendance and behaviour interventions.
- Support vulnerable student cohorts and coordinate with internal and external teams to remove barriers to achievement.
- Act as the first point of pastoral contact for students, initiating support and intervention strategies.
Required profile
- Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy.
- Experience working with young people and delivering group sessions.
- Strong understanding of challenges facing young people today.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
