Supply Primary Teacher – Flexible School Placements

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic supply teachers to cover nursery and primary classes across South Birmingham. The role offers flexible day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term assignments, allowing you to gain experience while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons and adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of each class.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with school staff to follow policies and support student progress.
- Provide reliable coverage for staff absences, both on short notice and for extended periods.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent legal right to teach in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Passion for education and strong communication skills.
- Reliability and adaptability to work in different school settings.
Required skills
- Classroom management.
- Lesson planning and delivery.
- Ability to adapt teaching style quickly.
