Systems Administrator

About the role

Thrive is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its engineering team and support a growing client base in the Miami area. The role involves both onsite and remote assistance, requiring strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and document unfamiliar client/server network environments to determine rapid resolution paths.
• Perform rapid analysis of workstation and server incidents, identifying root causes.
• Develop and document client standards based on Thrive best practices.
• Troubleshoot server‑level and network‑level issues independently.
• Provide consulting on applications, best practices, and general computing processes.
• Offer escalated support, mentoring, and technical leadership to other engineers.
• Identify improvement opportunities in client environments and capture them in a central documentation system.
• Review security best practices, suggest proactive changes, and work with the Team Lead to implement standards across the customer base.
