Teaching Assistant – Mixed Secondary & Sixth Form (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a mixed secondary school and sixth form in South London. The role is full‑time (Monday‑Friday, 8am‑4pm) with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Support SEN and LAP students during group or whole‑class interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify and address individual learning needs.
• Assist with students' social, emotional and personal wellbeing.
• Help manage behaviour in line with academy policies.
• Deliver learning activities or teaching programmes when required.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check (up‑to‑date).
• UK Bachelor's degree or overseas equivalent.
• Experience working with children/teenagers or as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools.

Required skills

• Knowledge of SEN and LAP support strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
