About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Liverpool. You will work closely with teachers to support learners across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

Support students during KS3 and KS4 lessons
Deliver targeted interventions and small‑group support
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery
Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
Provide additional support for pupils with learning needs
Contribute to a safe and inclusive school atmosphere

Required profile

Experience working with young people or in an educational setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and proactive approach to learning support
Strong relationship‑building abilities
Commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
