Technical Major Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Major Account Manager to lead and expand our presence within UK steel mills and heavy‑industrial plants. You will act as the primary technical liaison, delivering engineering solutions that meet the demanding operational needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain senior‑level relationships across steel mills and related heavy‑industry sites.
• Provide technical consultations and match engineering solutions to client requirements.
• Conduct site surveys, deliver technical presentations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Identify new applications for a diverse product portfolio and achieve regional sales targets.

Required profile

• Formal technical or engineering qualification (HND level or higher) – Mechanical, Electrical, Materials or Metallurgy preferred.
• Proven track record in technical B2B sales, ideally within steel mills or comparable heavy‑industry environments.
• Based in the West Midlands, South Wales or the bordering region with willingness to travel extensively.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate effectively with plant engineers and procurement teams.
