Temporary Accountant – 3‑5 months – £300‑£400/day

About the role

Our client, a leading tech business in London, is seeking a temporary Accountant for a 3‑5 month assignment. The role is full‑time and on‑site, offering a day rate of £300‑£400 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting processes for four corporate entities, including accounts payable, group payroll and inter‑company transactions.
• Handle inter‑company loans, interest, bank loans and related reconciliations.
• Post manual journals, invoices, receipts and payments.
• Maintain the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for corporate overhead entities, performing month‑end and quarter‑end reporting and variance analysis.
• Oversee the group recharges process, booking inter‑company costs and issuing invoices to other countries.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop budgets and forecasts for corporate entities and provide ad‑hoc financial information for management.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent experience, preferably with international business exposure.
• Ability to start immediately or within one week’s notice.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
