Temporary Accountant – Finance Support (Hybrid, 4 weeks)

About the role

This is a four‑week temporary finance assignment based in Wimborne, offering a hybrid working pattern (two days onsite). The role can be undertaken on a part‑time or full‑time basis and is ideal for an experienced finance professional seeking short‑term, hands‑on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end processes, including accruals and pre‑payments.
• Process supplier invoices accurately, matching, batching and coding them.
• Liaise with the Procurement team to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
• Assist with stock management and inventory control, maintaining accurate records and reconciliations.
• Provide day‑to‑day transactional support to the wider Finance team.

Required profile

• Experienced finance professional comfortable with transactional finance tasks.
• Confident in supporting month‑end activities and ensuring timely, accurate processing.
• Flexible to work either part‑time or full‑time during the assignment period.
