Trading Assistant – Hedge Fund (London) – High Compensation & Hybrid

About the role

This position is a desk‑facing Trading Assistant role within a fast‑growing multi‑strategy hedge fund in London. Working closely with portfolio managers and traders, you will be part of the Middle Office team that supports live trading, monitors risk and P&L, and handles intraday trading queries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist portfolio managers and traders during live trading sessions.
• Monitor real‑time risk metrics and profit‑and‑loss figures.
• Manage trade lifecycle events, including trade confirmations and settlements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for intraday trading inquiries.
• Collaborate with technology, AI, and infrastructure teams to improve trading workflows.

Required profile

• Strong interest in financial markets and trading operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to take ownership of trading support tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with traders and middle‑office partners.
