Trainee Account Manager (Dutch Speaker)

About the role

Our client connects businesses with communications technology, helping UK enterprises become more accessible, productive and profitable. As a Trainee Account Manager you will start by learning the product suite and market, then progress to managing smaller accounts and eventually larger, strategic relationships. The role offers a clear path from trainee to senior account manager and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s offering and the marketplace.
• Support senior account managers with up‑selling and cross‑selling to larger accounts.
• Independently manage and sell to lower‑spend accounts.
• Prospect new clients via LinkedIn, strategic emails and other outreach methods.
• After 9‑12 months, meet clients face‑to‑face and take full responsibility for business relationships.

Required profile

• Educated to degree level.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and self‑motivation.
• Ambitious, determined and eager to succeed.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
