Training & Development Lead – 15‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

This 15‑month fixed‑term position leads the design, delivery and continuous improvement of finance‑related training for internal colleagues and the retailer network. You will work closely with HR, brand partners and senior stakeholders to boost sales productivity, customer engagement and people development.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver engaging learning experiences using the latest digital tools and techniques.
• Manage multiple training projects across internal teams and external partners, including appointed representatives.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and the FIT2.2 competence requirements.
• Develop a variety of training content – classroom, e‑learning, webinars – aligned with business needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve delivery quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programmes, preferably in finance or a regulated environment.
• Strong project‑management skills with the ability to handle several stakeholders simultaneously.
• Good understanding of FCA consumer duty principles and regulatory training requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage senior audiences.
