Transport Planner – £36k-£40k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our growing logistics team at our Lisburn headquarters. The role involves coordinating deliveries across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, ensuring cost‑effective and timely transport solutions while supporting our sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assign customer sales to transport in the most cost‑effective and efficient way.
• Plan and allocate SORs to drivers, confirming booking dates.
• Maintain driver and customer relationships and create delivery schedules.
• Produce reports for customers and internal departments.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Sales to resolve issues affecting delivery times.
• Ensure accurate order information is obtained before scheduling deliveries.
• Manage workload, multitask across communication platforms, and keep records up to date.
• Identify and implement improvements to performance and service delivery.

Required profile

• Recent experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar logistics role.
• Good geographical knowledge of NI and ROI.
• Proactive problem‑solving and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication with all business levels.
