Vice President, Finance Business Partner – Payment Networks

About the role

The Vice President, Finance Business Partner – Payment Networks will serve as a senior finance leader and strategic partner within Mastercard's Payment Networks organization. This role drives financial planning, performance management, and investment decisions for real‑time payments across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance partnership for Payment Networks, advising product, engineering and business leaders on strategy and performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for revenues, expenses, investments and personnel.
• Own executive‑level financial performance management, including month‑end close, variance analysis and leadership narratives.
• Set finance strategy, KPIs, reporting routines and governance frameworks for the organization.
• Partner with senior leaders to evaluate new products, partnerships, pricing, vendor negotiations and return expectations.
• Identify and lead process‑improvement initiatives to strengthen financial discipline and forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, project management and stakeholder collaboration.
• Advanced degree or MBA preferred.
