Year 3 Primary Teacher – Temporary Full‑Time (Kidbrooke)

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Year 3 Primary Teacher to join an inclusive, three‑form entry school in Kidbrooke, Greenwich. The role is full‑time for the Autumn term, with the possibility of extending to the full academic year or a permanent contract based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess the Year 3 curriculum in line with the KS2 national framework.
- Prepare lesson materials, mark work and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct parent evenings and maintain regular communication with families.
- Manage classroom behaviour and implement effective behaviour‑management strategies.
- Support pupils with SEN and EAL needs, collaborating with specialist staff.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum two years’ experience teaching KS2 in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment standards.
- Proven behaviour‑management skills.
- Extensive experience working with SEN and EAL pupils.
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
