Year 6 SATs Booster & Intervention Teacher (Part‑Time)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Year 6 SATs Booster & Intervention Teacher to join a respected primary school in Birmingham from September 2026 to May 2027. The role is part‑time (four days a week) and focuses on delivering targeted English and Maths support to help pupils achieve their best in the end‑of‑key‑stage assessments.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English and Maths sessions for Year 6 pupils.
- Provide small‑group and one‑to‑one tutoring aimed at SATs preparation.
- Identify individual learning gaps and adapt lessons to meet each pupil’s needs.
- Collaborate closely with the Year 6 teaching team and teaching assistants to monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate records of pupil performance and intervention outcomes.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
- Experience supporting or teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs requirements.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (must be on the update service).
- Willingness to undertake any additional training required.
